A Trip Down Candy Cane Lane - Scouts (Dec 13th)

This week Scouts will be taking a trip to visit Candy Cane Lane this weekend.  Please dress for the weather and bring a food item for the Edmonton Food Bank.

We will be meeting at the local coffee shop on 149 Street & Stony Plain Road (the one with a star in its name) at 6:30 PM.

Scout Tobogganing (Dec 6th)

Scouts are going tobogganing this week.  This events is open to all family and friends who want to come out and join us.

We will be meeting at the Fox Drive Hill at White Mud Park North starting at 6:30 PM.  Please dress for the weather and wear a helmet.

Scouts Investiture (Nov 8th)

Scouts will be meeting at the Parkallen School in full uniform this week as we will be inversting our new members.  We will also be preparing for the Remembrance Day Parade on November 11th.

Scouts Halloween Party 2017 (Nov 1st)

This week we will be meeting at the Parkallen School for our annual Halloween Party.  Please dress up in costume for some fun games and treats.  Scouts will be hosting their Haunted House for all sections.

Scout Investiture Prep (Oct 18th)

Scouts will be meeting at the Parkallen school this week.  Our investiture ceremony is coming up fast and we will need to review the Scout Law, Motto and Promise and what they mean to you.

Scouts Annual Fall Nature Walk (Oct 11th)

Scouts will be meeting at the Parkallen School this week to take part in our annual Fall Nature Walk through the Parkallen Neighbourhood. We will be delivering flyers for our upcoming Bottle Drive / Food Bank Drive taking place on October 14th. Please dress in uniform and dress for the weather.

Scout Fall Camp Prep (Sep 27th)

Scouts will be meeting at the Parkallen School this week.  We will be finishing up our discussion on activities and what we need to bring to camp.

Nature Walk - Scouts (Sep 20th)

Will be meeting in the river valley for a nature walk, followed by a fire with hot chocolate & snacks. 

 

There is a forecast of possible rain, so please dress appropriately for the weather.

Scouts First Meeting of 2017/2018 (Sep 13th)

It is a new year to bring on the adventure.  Scouts will have their first meeting on September 6th.


Our Troop is working on the following Canadian Path Skills this 2017/2018 Scout Year:

- Paddle Skills
- Scout Craft Skills (Outdoor Skills)

Winter Camp Planning (Feb 8th)

Scouts will be meeting at the Parkallen School this week.

We will start work on our 2017 Winter Camp activity preparations. Remember, Scouts get to plan their own fun for these camps.

Please bring your notebooks and pencils.

Knife Safety Training Review & Test (Feb 1st)

Scouts will be meeting at the Parkallen School this week.  We will be reviewing our knife safety course and writing our test for our knife permits.  Please bring your note book and pen.

Scouts will be meeting tonight at the Parkallen School. We will be working on our knife permit requirements and we have a guest instructor coming out tonight to show you the correct way to use a knife.
