Scout Promise:
On my honour
I promise that I will do my best
To do my duty to God and the Queen
To help other people at all times,
And to carry out the spirit of the Scout Law.
The First Service Project of the Year will be making warm hats for the Mustard Seed. The Scouts will be contacting local businesses for donations of yarn and will make the hats using a knitting loom. Photos of the completed hats will be posted at the end of the project.
If you would like to donate some yarn, please feel free to contact us via email (found in the profile.)
The Scout program is designed to interest children grades 6 to 9. The Scout activities emphasize citizen development while living and playing outdoors. Scouts earn Achievement Badges and Challenge Badges - to earn the Chief Scout Award. Each year our Scouts participate in several weekend camps and special activities. Our group meets every Wednesday from Sept to May at the Parkallen School starting at 6:30 PM
