Halloween Party Scout's Style

It is that time again to put on our best costumes and have some fun.   This will be your test run before we go to our Spooky Fall Camp in Evansburg next weekend.  We will be meeting at the Parkallen School at our regular meeting time.

Investiture Night

Our next meeting on October 19th will be our Investiture Night where we will be investing new members to our Scout Troop.  Please wear full dress uniform and parents may want to bring a camera.  

Fall Bottle Drive

Scoutss will be out in the Parkallen Community delivering flyers for our upcoming Bottle Drive/Edmonton Food Bank Drive.  Please dress for the weather.  We will be meeting at the Parkallen Elementary School at 6:30 PM.

Getting Ready for October

Scouts have a busy month and year ahead of them.  For the month of October the Scouts will be working on their investiture preparations  , bottle drive and most of all our Fall Camp (Oct 28 - 30).

I have been advised by Scout Patrol Leader Aurora that the Scouts this year plan on attending many camps (Canoe Trip, Horse Camp, Mad Trappers, Spring Thaw and Fort Edmonton to name a few), continue the service project of the of knitting hats for the homeless and skill building (Paddling, Knife Safety, Lashing, Fire building, Horseback Riding, etc.).

Our first meeting in October will be back at the Parkallen School Gym at our regular time of 6:30 PM.
