This week the Scouts will be meeting at the Parkallen School to work on sharpening their camping skills. Knots, tent care, more knots, lashing, even more knots and tent care.
Our Annual Fall Camp is around the corner and our Scouts plan to sleep outside. Scouts are reminded to bring program ideas that they will want to do.
The Scout program is designed to interest children grades 6 to 9. The Scout activities emphasize citizen development while living and playing outdoors. Scouts earn Achievement Badges and Challenge Badges - to earn the Chief Scout Award. Each year our Scouts participate in several weekend camps and special activities. Our group meets every Wednesday from Sept to May at the Parkallen School starting at 6:30 PM
