Scouts will be meeting with at the Parkallen School Gym this week.
Scouts will be launching their service project this week which is the EliMiNaTe Project to help rid the world of Maternal Neonatal Tetanus. This is an international project between Kiwanis International and UNICEF. Scouts will be raising awareness and funds to help eliminate this disease around the world.
Scouts are reminded to bring their Scout Books with them to this week's meeting.
The Scout program is designed to interest children grades 6 to 9. The Scout activities emphasize citizen development while living and playing outdoors. Scouts earn Achievement Badges and Challenge Badges - to earn the Chief Scout Award. Each year our Scouts participate in several weekend camps and special activities. Our group meets every Wednesday from Sept to May at the Parkallen School starting at 6:30 PM

Scouts Service Project 2014 - Sep 24
Scouts will be meeting at the Parkallen School this week. Last week we picked a service project called the Eliminate Project that the Kiwanis International and UNICEF to eliminate Maternal Neonatal Tetanus. This week the Scouts will be setting our patrol and Troop goals. We will also be planning our camps and activities for the 2014 year.

Patrol vs. Patrol Corn Maze Challenge - Sep 17th

The Scouts will be taking on a challenge from the Vents, Cubs and Beavers on who has better skills at navigating. Best place to do this challenge is to enter the Corn Maze. Out two Scout Patrols will be competing against each other as well. Please arrive at 6:20 pm at the Edmonton Corn Maze and dress for the weather and bring a flashlight.

Patrols at the Ready (Sep 10th)
Scouts will be meeting at the Parkallen School Gym this week starting at 6:30 pm. We will continue with patrol development and continue planning for our Scouting Year. Scouts are reminded to be in full uniform and have their Scout Books.
